Todos Santos is a small coastal town surrounded by the Sierra de la Laguna mountains that is only about an hour from Los Cabos.
Less than 10,000 people call Todos Santos home, and it’s not as well-known of a destination as San Jose del Cabo or Cabo San Lucas.
This is why it’s the perfect place for a quieter, more relaxing vacation.
Like Los Cabos, Todos Santos is known for its beaches, so read on to find out which ones are the top 4 beaches in this charming town near Los Cabos.
Playa Los Cerritos
Playa Los Cerritos, also known as Cerritos Beach, is a wide, expansive beach known for its mix of surfing conditions and calmer waters, depending on the time of day and/or year.
It’s a more secluded beach while having plenty to offer, including a beach club that will serve you while lounging in the sand.
You’ll also find beach vendors selling souvenirs and necessities, you can rent chairs and umbrellas, and you can purchase surfing lessons on this popular beach too.

Palm Beach
If you’re looking for a more secluded beach, Palm Beach might be the beach for you.
Often, there are very few people on the beach, but you might run into some wild horses and should avoid them if you can.
Palm Beach is situated in a cove-like location, so it typically has calm waters other than on the ends of the beach.
There are no vendors on the beach, so you’ll want to be prepared if you’ll be spending the day here.

Punta Lobos
Although Punta Lobos is more of a surfing beach than a swimmable beach, it offers something to everyone: seclusion.
It’s the perfect beach for a picnic or a walk along the beach.
The hike to the beach is enjoyable, too, with amazing views of the beach and the water, and the unobstructed sunsets are said to be unbelievable.

Playa La Cachora
Playa La Cachora is another great beach to hike to and is almost always secluded.
Its rough surf makes it not a swimmable beach, but it’s almost a mile long, large enough for a long stroll.
There are no amenities or lifeguards, so you’ll want to take what you need regarding food, beverages, and sun protection.
Even though you can’t swim on Playa La Cachora, it’s worth visiting just for the scenery.

@passport2midlife Happy Travel Tuesday! Take me back to the magical artisan town of Todos Santos! This quant town is about 45 minutes from Los Cabos and last week we spent the day exploring this charming town with @Cabo Adventures and our knowledgeable guide Marcelino. Todos Santos is known for its beautiful architecture, artisan community and traditions. We explored this hidden gem and cultural highlights that most tourists miss, all while enjoying delicious Mexican snacks and learning about the local art, history, and traditions. Our adventure began with learning about the fascinating process of pearl farming. From there, we stopped to admire the town's iconic church and history. Next, we made a quick visit to the charming souvenir marketplace and snapped a photo in front of the legendary Hotel California. Then, we explored the local artisan stores that Todos Santos is known for and also enjoyed delicious fresh paletas, the sweet mango & spicy chamoy was a delicious combo. Then we made our way to a local family owned blanket factory to discover the intricate process of hand-woven blankets. Our last stop was Tierra Sagrada Ranch, where we met friendly camels and took some fun photos and then enjoyed an Al fresco Mexican lunch followed by an informative tequila tasting.
